You will find here a few examples of my work. Some of my design, others are replicas. I can design a piece according to the request - purpose and style/ character, or build a replica, customized to your needs. I may suggest certain style, type of wood, or finish, but final choice is yours

PAINTED WALL CUPBOARD

One of my recent pieces. I found a picture of its original in one of my Antiques books. I liked the design, overall shape, and funcionality. How often we have collection of small items, china, and need a piece to display them. I used recycled ( over century old) pine boards. Those used for back have original crackled finish. Cabinet was made traditional way - hand cut dovetails. Hinges are rat tail replicas, brass pull ring is original old piece. Finish is blue distressed paint, orange shellac, and wax.

MAHOGANY TABLE

This table is made of solid mahogany, features carved legs and apron joined with mortice and tenon joints. Top is nicely shaped, edge moulded. Finished with oil varnish, applied by hand

WALL SHELF

One of my designs, wall shelf made of pine. At first designed together with a wall cabinet, as a bathroom set, however it can serve many other purposes. This is one, of a few colour variations. Others were blue, bayberry green and natural - simulating old aged pine. Distressed paint, shellac and protective coat of wax

PINE WARDROBE/ ARMOIRE

One of my pine wardrobes mede in a French style. Interior can be customized according to the purpose - shelves, interior drawers, or pull out swivel shelf and dididers to accomodate TV set, audio components, tapes, CD's/DVD's etc.Piece is entirely made of pine. Hardware - hinges, key holes/ plates, are replicas of original old hardware. Colour can be customized. Finish - shellac, and wax.

Another design of pine wardrobe. Solid pine including back, rat tail hinges, wax finish. Interior customized. In this particular piece was just 5 shelves.

3/4 size, pine wardrobe for child's bedroom. Interior shelves and bottom pull out drawer. Antique pine look and non toxic shellac/ wax finish.

KITCHEN WORKSTATION

This mobile unit (HD wheels) was built to fit into a large kitchen center with a built in stove and sink. In case of a large event, this island could be pulled out to give more room for preparing and serving meals. Woods- maple and birch, with solid 1-1/2" birch butcher block type counter, finished with pure oil.

Full size, solid pine wardrobe, another example of my work. Stained to look like aged pine. Hinges are replicas from my supplier. Finished with wax.
