Introduction
Every step in the total process, from the formal finish removal to the applying a new finish, is done 90 - 100% by hand. Every effort is made to ensure the warmth of your piece.
Re applying missing inlays, matching of missing mouldings and carvings is carefully done with selected wood and veneers.
Each job is assessed for structural integrity, missing or replaced/ reproduced parts. Loose, wobbly joints, legs and all structural elements are disassembled and cleaned of old adhesives. The re gluing process ensures renewed strenght and durability for normal use of any given piece of furniture.
Finishing process is entirely done by hand. I don't use nitrocelulose lacquers, as well as water based products. I only use sprayed finishes, when requested by customer. I always try to match colour and type of finish with original. If possible, bringing piece back to life, not transforming into something new.
